11AM POSTCARDS: THE LOUVRE

About seven months ago, I started my first ever full-time job. Transitioning from a full-time college student to a full-time analyst is pretty interesting. I never felt more excited to take naps or sleep in during the weekends cause now I can only do it two days out of the week. Although being a student has its perks, one of the best thing about working is being able to take days off during non-peak holiday seasons. I recently took two weeks off work to go to Paris and London by myself. Two of my friends graciously allowed me to stay in their apartments during my visit and I am extremely grateful. I have a lot of photos to go through but I’ll start with the pictures I took at the Louvre. Apparently, the Louvre is the largest museum in the world, which explains the amount of time I spent there. It took me about 4 hours to explore the museum and I am pretty sure I missed some corners here and there. A lot of people visited the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa, but I did not find it breathtaking. My favorite parts of the Louvre are the large open space filled with Greek Sculptures and the Egyptian relics exhibition. I hope you enjoy these pictures and if you’ve been to the Louvre, tell me your favorite part about it in the comments below!
