SCANDINAVIA – FINLAND & SWEDEN

Sorry for the hiatus, guys. I have told you that my family and I were travelling around the Scandinavian countries so instead of just sharing my favorite, why not show all of them? First up is Helsinki in Finland, the land of the never-setting sun. We had to ride a small ferry to a small island which used to be a fort. Despite missing the historical details, we were just awed by the view which was magnificent. We also got the chance to snap a lot of pictures during sunset which ran between 10 – 11 PM. I can tell you that it felt like a really long day, we only went back and rest at 1 AM and it felt like it was only 8 PM.

Next up was Stockholm, Sweden, home to the world-famous Swedish meatballs, yum! Furthermore, the country also boasts about its fish which are sold by street vendors across the city. Also, this city (or basically the whole Scandinavia) was home to the Vikings. We spent a lot of our time walking up to reach a church, but to our dismay it was not what we were looking for. Yes, we hiked two – three hours up concrete pavements for no reason. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the chit chat. Anyways, as always, enjoy and stay tuned for the next update!
